Drive have an article running that suggests the possibility of Porsche buying Red Bull. The rationale is sound especially as we now know that RB will undoubtedly follow Toro Roso and move to Honda now that McLaren have signed with Renault.

I've been pondering that too.
RB becoming a Porsche factory team?
TR are becoming (effectively) a Honda factory team but that isn't quite the same as being bought out.
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.
Now a 2021 Tesla Model 3 LR

With engine changes due in 2020 and the Red Bull owner striving for a change in engines essentially it seems to me to stop the dominance of Mercedes and Ferrari it would seem a great time to get into a much cheaper F1.

Couple with Porsche intention to go into Formula E then it bodes well for motorsport.

More than enough with Audi exiting WEC last year and Porsche leaving at the end of this year. Estimated combined annual budget in excess of £500m.
Macan GTS - Mar 17 to Jan 23
Macan SD - Apr 16 to Mar 17

As F1 Inc. will not like to loose one of the top three teams I would not be surprised to learn of some financial inducements to help bring Porsche to the party.
