Macan test drives
As someone who will occasionally tow about 1,700kg I like a bit of weight in a car.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.

Porsches were always lightweight cars. I was surprised to read initially that the Macan was a 2-tonner.

But isn't that because it's not very well built?Kasfranks99 wrote: βThu Oct 05, 2017 5:19 pm As much as I don't like the FPace this is what they have done. It's a fair bit lighter than the Macan and also bigger...

The FPace is certainly not well built from my experience and what I have seen but that's not the reason it's lighter.andreas wrote: βFri Oct 13, 2017 7:33 pmBut isn't that because it's not very well built?Kasfranks99 wrote: βThu Oct 05, 2017 5:19 pm As much as I don't like the FPace this is what they have done. The Macan is a Porsche 'middle weight'
Lightest are the 718s. ( Your SD is roughly 39% heavier than your Boxster S.)
Next come the 911s.
Macans & Panameras are similar in weight. (Your SD is about 30kg heavier than my Panamera 4, excluding options.)
The heavyweight is the Cayenne, starting at 1,985kg.
