That's certainly how you do it. And you drove the route you wanted to and not the route you would have had to with an EV.

In Ireland the infrastructure would mean that the same trip would probably take about a week!

Little or no EVs here yet.

I did wonder where in Ireland you had driven 480 miles managing an average speed of 60 mph never mind the impressive consumption. Even a half mad boy racer would struggle to average 60 on our roads.
I have seen quiet a number of EVs around sunny Ballymena, mainly Nissan Leafs driven by notably older people who just use them for trundling around town where there perfect as long as simply getting from A to B is all that matters.

I see there is literally 1 Tesla Supercharger in the whole of Ireland, but quite a few other independent high speed chargers well distributed. You wouldn't have to go far off route to pick those up if you needed.

If i did Happy Days millage i would have a Diesel too

But i dont and have to stick with my GTS and not so good MPG in comparison...... :o
