Can highly recommend Tewkesbury OPC!
Close to the picturesque Cotswolds, Cheltenham... And Swindon, of course!
I have just been having a think about this, and watched a couple of YouTube videos about the process of resetting the service indicators on Porsche - basically to see if there is room for error.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 9:07 pmThat does seem odd. I would have thought that your first major service would be at 4 years, so Sept 2019.Guy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 8:53 pm I am not sure about the dash-displayed service intervals.
On my Sep 2015 Macan SD, I had my first 'interim' service done in Aug 17 at 2yrs/11000 miles. The in-car display now says:
- (Major) Service: Aug 2021 or 40,000 miles
- (Interim) Service: Aug 2019 or 20,000 miles
- Oil Change: Aug 2019 (or in 10,000 miles)
Whereas the service book clearly states that the first 'major' service should be after 4 years. But perhaps due to my low mileage I can delay the first major service until the 6 year point, in 2021.
Maybe the service dept pressed the wrong buttons when re-programming your in-car service indicator?
Sorry - been away. Yes another oil change was done at the 20k markWing Commander wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2017 7:49 pm Happy Days, did your Macan get another oil change at 20k miles?
My OPC said that my interim service might only cost me £160 or so (normal price minus the £300 cost of an oil change).
I suppose mine is quite a high miler too. Got it on March 28th and have done nearly 10k miles in just under 7 months.
