I'm sure it's very tongue in cheek, but quite amusing.

But more cheerily, in electric news.

I wish Must would stop prevaricating and build the damn transportation vehicle we actually want.

Thanks for those links, goron. Amusing and informative, respectively. :geek: 👍

P.S. I note that Porsche Norway think that the Mission E will be a five seater, with traditional rear doors rather than the 'suicide' doors as seen on the concept. But the writer urges that these comments be taken with a pinch of salt, as they don't come from Porsche, Germany. :geek: 🤔

I wonder how many laps (indeed, even one) that the Mission E or that Electric GT4 can do of the nordschleife, at speed.

Teslas usually fall flat when pushed hard for more than a couple of minutes.

Old but seems indicative

Thanks. Not seen that. Interesting, but I guess that going full pelt around a race track is not what most drivers of EVs are going to try... 🤔

And the driver does acknowledge that despite the Nurburgring shortcomings, the Tesla S is still an impressive achievement. :geek:

In a few years, EVs is all we’ll have, so they’ll have to step up if people are still going to passionate about driving.
Bleak future otherwise.

Agreed. And I'd like to think that with their sporting heritage, and engineering prowess, Porsche will be leading the way into the brave new world... :ugeek:

Really? Where will all that extra electricity be generated? There will be alternative vehicle power sources for sure. Slower EV "refueling" time will not be tolerated by businessmen. I can't see the mega oil companies just rolling over either. Maybe they'll convert their diesel and petrol to hydrogen filling stations.
