P.S. I note that Porsche Norway think that the Mission E will be a five seater, with traditional rear doors rather than the 'suicide' doors as seen on the concept. But the writer urges that these comments be taken with a pinch of salt, as they don't come from Porsche, Germany.

Teslas usually fall flat when pushed hard for more than a couple of minutes.

Thanks. Not seen that. Interesting, but I guess that going full pelt around a race track is not what most drivers of EVs are going to try...

And the driver does acknowledge that despite the Nurburgring shortcomings, the Tesla S is still an impressive achievement.

Really? Where will all that extra electricity be generated? There will be alternative vehicle power sources for sure. Slower EV "refueling" time will not be tolerated by businessmen. I can't see the mega oil companies just rolling over either. Maybe they'll convert their diesel and petrol to hydrogen filling stations.
