Am just wondering if other new Porsches appear to be programmed to 'need' a first oil change after 10,000 miles/12 months.
Cheers! :)
WingCo - just checked mine, a 2017 S, it shows oil change due in 11,200 miles (20,000 miles) and/or 2yrs from new due in Feb 19.

And when I bought my first two Porsches, a point was made that the servicing isn't too pricey really, as it's only required once every couple of years (assuming driving less than 20k miles in 24 months) ... πŸ€”
Something does seem odd. Porsche seem to follow the same pattern for servicing as Audi.
All of my cars have had nothing done until 20k miles or 2 years. Whatever was first.
Once the car is in it's 4th year the oil change was then every 10k miles or 12 months if memory serves me correctly.

Your engine is the same as the Audi RS5 if I am not mistaken.

The models that I tried showed 20,000miles/24 months consistently.
Thanks, Guy. πŸ‘ Doesn't list my car or model. I will certainly be keeping a close eye on my oil change indicator from now on and expecting it to remain around the 30k miles mark. :ugeek:

The RS5 has the 2.9 engine, Kas, as seen in the Panamera 4S. Mine is 'only' the Panamera 4 with the 3.0 V6. :)

4S has 440hp and I have to make do with 330hp  ;)

Mine shows due in about 14k miles which is total of 20k. When i first got it I think it said 10k then over a few weeks it settled on 20k.
