For members interest, so far so good with excellent service from NFU, reported incident last Friday 20th, received a courtesy phone call on Tuesday 24th to check if I was making a claim, NFU more than happy to let me use the local Porsche approved company, claim sent to NFU engineers on Thursday 26th so now just waiting for repair confirmation, NFU did offer an equivalent loan car but the repair company are giving a loan vehicle at no extra cost

To be fair Paul the repair is £4,000-00 and they are an elderly couple, they didn’t have pet insurance but have said they will pay my excess, so I’m happy with that don’t want to add to their pain already.

That’s a lot of damage.. I assume the dog is beyond repair?

Unfortunately yes the Dog was killed regarding repair it’s a brand new sports bumper, Skirt and grille, plus also Porsche Technicians become involved for sensors etc. Thankfully no bonnet damage, Local Company Chartwell do all the prestige brand repairs, I have asked for a Ferrari loan car and am awaiting their reply
