NFU Insurance
Had a visit today from the NFU Engineer to approve claim, full marks to him as he noticed some damage to the fins on the intercooler so he has logged for a replacement, so far been very pleased with the service from NFU they are living up to their reputation.

Good to hear (although I do hope I never have the opportunity to confirm it for myself)

I've claimed twice on my NFU car insurance.
In both cases (windscreens) it's been a quick and efficient process.
Work authorized over the phone in minutes. I settled the bill with OPC and was reimbursed in around a week.
Difficult to fault the experience.

I'm just about to take the plunge with them for my eagerly awaited, soon to be delivered Macan S. They offer new for old up to 2 years which I believe negates the requirement for Gap insurance? Only thing that irked a bit is the theft excess of Β£1550. Very good to deal with through the quoting process.

Good news so far Spud. Another NFU customer and hope I never have to find out too much about the claim process but I have had various policy changes due to car changes and they handled everything perfectly with no cost changes or admin costs.
Unlike my previous insurer.
Unlike my previous insurer.

+1 Kasfranks really efficient and no hidden costs. You can even spread the cost of insurance over 12 months interest free. I always laugh when asked if I will be carrying explosives or more than 1200 shotgun cartridges

I remember Merlin, one of the early members on here, was a keen Clay shooter......carried a couple of shotguns in the boot......Wing Commander wrote: βSat Nov 04, 2017 12:38 pm
