I love 911s, but is this a cynical marketing ploy to boost sales & profit prior to a new model, like the recently announced 'Exclusive' version of the Macan Turbo PP.
Yellow is a nice colour choice though

- PTV incl. mechanical diff as standard (not available on the base Carrera)
- short shift with shorter gear ratios with the sublime 7-speed manual gearbox.
- upgraded suspension.
I like it, as a baby 911 GT, with the no-cost option of rear seats.
Our stable:
- 992 Carrera T - manual - Ruby Star Neo - Carrera Excl. wheels (2023)
- BMW 240i xDrive (G42) - Portimao Blue - AC Schnitzer tune
ex: 981 Cayman GTS, Macan S Diesl, Macan Turbo, 991.2 Carrera S, 718 Cayman GTS, i30 N, 718 Cayman GTS 4.0

Poor mans GT3 and with the lowest engine power in the range. Would be the first model scored off my 911 list.

20 mm, it's a sport suspension.
Also, rear wheel steering is an optional extra, that is not available on a base Carrera.
GT3 Touring as lovely as it is, is not available to mere mortals due to it's price and very limited availability.
There's also the N/A and manual 911 R which too is unavailable.
So this is a good "reasonably" priced version of a new 911 with the important driver bits included and enough power to enjoy driving it enthusiastically.

Model T - 85k, GTS - 95k. I'd be inclined to save up a bit more and get the GTS! I think Porsche are taking the Mickey with this version.

I think this will be the new sweet spot for the 911 range. More power than you can realistically use, but comes with all the things you’d chuck on a base careers for less money.
The GTS hit 100k pretty quickly. This for 15k less and very few options required (pcm is £200 if you chuck the chronic stopwatch and track app on.
I reckon I could get my perfect spec for 86-87k.
With rear wheel steering, this’d be an awesome steer.

Ha ha! I'd love to get back in a 911, Mike, but family responsibilities require four proper seats for the time being. Hence the Panamera 4, and the letter of intent for the Mission E.
