A guy riding a long while testing out the massive acceleration. Bad video footage, but worth a watch anyway :D :

I have just called Tesla UK. UK RHD deliveries estimate is 2021 onwards. UK pricing estimate is slightly more than the USD price in GBP (hmmm)...so safe to assume £220k. Production slot order book open with refundable holding deposits...£50k deposit.
Current Porsches: 991.2 GT3 RS
Previous Porsches: Macan x4 (one of each), Panamera x2, 996x2, 997x2, Cayenne S, Boxster S, Cayman S x2, Boxster Spyder, 991.1 Turbo S, 991.2 GT3 (manual), 718 Cayman GTS (PDK)
Others: way too many...

Makes the new Vantage look like a dinosaur (in both styling and tech) and you can have 2 of these for the same price. If this is the future, then bring it on! I would be seriously tempted to put down a deposit on this, but I expect there will be many in the queue and it's too much cash for me to risk if they don't make it.
Also interested on the weight with a 200 kWh battery. That could be its only downside, but I'll bet they offer it with smaller packs too for those who don't actually need a 600 mile range every day.

I really hope Tesla do succeed in bringing this to market as it will seriously stir up the pot for the likes of Porsche, Ferrari, Aston etc. Looking at the specs of the Mission-E, it already looks behind the performance curve.

Two Vantages (£120k) = 1 Tesla (£220k)

I thought you said they were £500K base price, or was that some special edition?

Regardless of whether or not Tesla survive long enough to produce this car (I believe they will at this point), the more important point is that a car like this can really exist. I have no doubt that the mind-blowing performance is real. For me the only question mark is how much does it weigh with a 200 kWh battery? In other words does it handle as well as it goes in a straight line? My guess is that it's no lightweight, but not ridiculously heavy either for a road car. The CofG will be extremely low too, so overall I expect it can dance pretty well (if not the best) but on road the staggering performance and traction will blow everyone's mind anyway. I for one would love to drive this thing!

I cannot say that I like it, looks like a Playstation set up to me, but I might be showing my age.
Interior seems a bit sparse, like all Tesla's. I hope other manufacturers of EV's do a better job on their interiors.
