the maths works out as 8/2 with a bit of noise to hide the fact your random number is ignored (added then subtracted) and showing a limited list so you automatically pick Denmark instead of say "Dominican Republic" and similarly Elephant instead of say "Elk"

all true....but it was on the radio........and also worked well at home when read out to others.....’twas just a bit of fun......

it is - but it is sad some people, even when it is explained to them, still don't understand how this sort of thing works - so when a commercial entity, such as big Supermarket, manipulates them using similar tricks they don't realise what is being done.
