New 718 Boxster Spyder to get detuned engine from GT3, as reported by Autocar.

Could be launched around April 2018.

New Cayman GT4 to follow later in 2018 with even more power and trademark rear wing...

Form an orderly queue... :geek:

Disillusioned with all these GT cars, don't know what you have to do to get one.

Already a new shape GT3 for sale on AT at 200k. I guess they didn't do their due diligence with that one then.

Probably will be very excellent the Spyder.

You can discount the one at £175k...as it won't actually be £175k. The guy selling it just finds potential buyers for other people and always advertises at much lower artificial prices. He was doing the same thing with the i8 in 2015 and then I know again with an AMG GT R he had up at £170k...but the price was actually £200k (I called!).

Be interesting to see how quickly or otherwise these move. Market seems to have reached the winter slowdown. My McLaren is for sale and has been stuck for a while - wrong time of year for a convertible clearly but from speaking to a couple of McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche dealers plus my usual independent the whole market has gone a little to sleep.
Current Porsches: 991.2 GT3 RS
Previous Porsches: Macan x4 (one of each), Panamera x2, 996x2, 997x2, Cayenne S, Boxster S, Cayman S x2, Boxster Spyder, 991.1 Turbo S, 991.2 GT3 (manual), 718 Cayman GTS (PDK)
Others: way too many...

or is it saffron yellow Simon?

I think the Boxster Spyder/Cayman GT4 will both be excellent cars and offer really great value for money for a GT car if you can get one at list price.

Saffron Yellow only available on Turbo models I think, Arif. :ugeek:

And I agree that those lucky enough to get a GT3, GT4 or Spyder at list price are getting a great bargain!

Maybe the GT2 RS is less of a bargain and the pricing of that car might indicate that forthcoming GT cars might be priced a bit higher in relative terms compared to previous Spyder, GT4, GT3 RS etc... :geek:
