Had the pleasure of having this for the day. I think I prefer the Platinum wheels on this one to the black wheels on the silver Boxster that I borrowed recently. The SportTex seats felt very comfortable. I like the contrast stitching, but I really missed the heated steering wheel! :geek:

Very nice, Simon. Kitty is going back in again on Friday with a view to sorting out the dangly bit. It could take several hours so fingers crossed! :-)

Go for it, Mike! They only needed my car for a couple of hours, but I still asked for a loan car! ;)

Apparently it could be 2-3 hours so far too long for coffee and brownies. As the bumper etc has to be removed thats only to investigate whats gone wrong! If its a failed bracket then they'll have to order one in - and another loaner presumably To my mind it points to Spraymasters not attaching whatever it is properly - but we'll see. I don't really want Tewkesbury incurring expense when its not their fault - unless course they can charge it back to Swindon - but they are so much more convenient.

Hope it's sorted quickly and to your satisfaction, Mike.

Do your rear parking sensors still work?

Yep. Phillip the service manager's reply to me.

From the image provided, this might be aerial (GPS antennae) wiring
This may require rear bumper removal to repair. Unfortunately not a quick fix.
When would you like to make a booking for us to try and re-secure? If the bumper needs removing then I estimate the waiting time to be approx. 2 – 2 1/2 hours.

Hmmm - annoying, especially if, as seems possible, the damage was done by Spraymaster. :(

Indeed, ScotMac! And am now keeping it until the weekend!

The OPC undid the parts boxes for my sports tailpipes and discovered that they have two left-hand sets!!
