I like the wheel colour on the Boxster. I'm semi seriously thinking of having the wheels on mine refinished in a similar colour.

Call me old fashioned, but I still prefer silver wheels on a 718 Boxster.

happy days wrote: Mon Dec 04, 2017 3:44 pm Nice wee car,

It's "only" the non-S version, but still goes like stink! :) Not surprisingly, it feels like a go kart compared to my Panamera!

Great idea of yours to have a Boxster S as a fun runaround/weekend car, happy days 😎

I think the Platinum satin wheels really suit the GT Silver Boxster; more so than the satin black wheels, in my humble opinion.

With Sapphire Blue, I think I prefer the contrast of the brighter silver wheels, but that's just me. 😎

If you get yours done in Platinum, Martin, I think you're looking at about £400 or just over, at a wheel refurbishment specialist. (I know, as I got a quote on my 20" Carrera S wheels when I had my 991.1 C2.) :ugeek:

Getting in and out of the Boxster was very difficult when it was in the garage with a Cayenne and I couldn't open the door far. I'm afraid the time has come when my old frame needs a more cosseting ride. :(

PS. A shorter (4800mm) Panamera Coupe would fit the bill for me, petrol of course :D
