AHA! Mine is actually my daily driver as I only do 7.2 miles to the office each day. The McCann is really wife's and as she works in Belfast (50miles away) she drives it most days. However, if I'm away down south for work, which is quite often, we swop as I can't really carry passengers and hers has the toll barrier tag on the windscreen so it means I don't have to carry Euro around in my pocket. The McCann really is a comfortable mile muncher, whereas the 718 is just great fun. Especially on the non-congested roads we have around here!Wing Commander wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:37 pm
It's "only" the non-S version, but still goes like stink! Not surprisingly, it feels like a go kart compared to my Panamera!
Great idea of yours to have a Boxster S as a fun runaround/weekend car, happy days

That's great, and lucky you to be able to drive a true Porsche sports car to work and back every day, or at least most days.
If circumstances allow in the future, I think a household combo of a Macan/Cayenne and a 718/911 has to be the absolute ideal!
But until that time, I will 'make do' with my Panamera 4, hopefully to be followed by a Mission E.

I offered to buy my wife a boxster to run alongside our Macan ...... and she said she’d prefer to keep her Vauxhall Corsa?! [emoji848]

I have two coats - she has about fifty.
I have eight pairs of shoes - she has around two hundred.
I have no handbags - she has dozens.
When our bills arrive, I'd say 90-95% of the transactions are hers (mostly for clothes), although she claims that most of them will be going back. Mind you, the bills don't ever seem to go down! Still, you wouldn't be without them...
