+1 to that. We were waiting to cross a road last week and watched a beemer take the right-handed off the main road at pace, hit a new, metre-wide hole with a terrible crunching noise as beloved beemer bottomed out! Could see the whites of the drivers eyes!!Old Timer wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2018 7:17 pm I agree with all the above and hope all enjoy happy Macan motoring in 2018.
But. It would be nice if we had more of those high-pressure winter days. Blue skies, crisp, clear, cold air. And somewhere nice to get to in the Macan.
The reality in this part of Hampshire and West Sussex is very different. The roads are covered in a noxious mix of salt, grit, mud and dirt, which coats the sides and back of the Macan after a few minutes driving. The potholes are back with a vengeance and taking any puddle (sic, actually small lakes) at speed is very risky. Cars swerve towards you to avoid their potholes, as you are swerving to avoid yours.
Result? I am using the X1 while the weather is so foul.
But happy new year to all, anyway.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
