Only a modest 74 pages so far, Mike!Dandock wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 2:56 pmLess is very definitely more.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 7:42 pmNot much choice in rear spoilers for the T, Col. The Sport Design rear spoiler is very subtle and a mere shadow of the ‘ducktail’ that I had retro-fitted to my 991.1 C2, so I don’t think I’ll bother.
And another Wingco thread heading towards the century!
Enjoy your holiday!

Hi RabRab J wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:07 amHave you any information on the engine upgrade as far as warranty is concerned? I know some of the tuners have been prepared to warrant the engine themselves now that the manufacturer warranty is possibly void.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 7:57 pmThanks, Rab. Yep, nothing too dramatic, but 7mm spacers all round is what Iain Litchfield recommended and what he’s done to his own T. Hopefully it’ll get sorted with minimal fuss.
Litchfield guarantee their own work. In all the time they’ve been tuning engines etc, they have never known a customer’s engine to fail.
I do know that I’m taking a risk.
My insurer is aware of the work that I’ve had done, and of what I have planned.
Litchfield are well established and respected in their industry. Having met Iain (and driven his car) I’m happy to do business with him and to have his team working on my pride & joy.
Cheers,
Simon

I am seriously considering the Remus exhaust with carbon tips for my S. Sounds incredible.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:28 pmHi RabRab J wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:07 amHave you any information on the engine upgrade as far as warranty is concerned? Cheers,
Your engine has the same internals as my GTS with 450 bhp so should be easily able to take the update that Litchfield do. They talk of taking the GTS to well over 500 so it must have plenty of safety margin Unless your on a track or loose all caution on the road the engine will rarely be stressed anyway.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:28 pmHi RabRab J wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:07 amHave you any information on the engine upgrade as far as warranty is concerned? Actually not the same Rab. GTS has a number of alterations over the base engine and not just limited to bigger turbochargers

Iain said that the Remus is a little louder than the Akrapovic. His service guy said that Remus may have discontinued the carbon/titanium exhaust tips...GMAN75 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:38 pmI am seriously considering the Remus exhaust with carbon tips for my S.
