Wingco! New video review!
https://youtu.be/GrYqdno1AUQ
It’s in Dutch... sorry... but its yellow!
In brief:
Likes: Engine power/feeling, manual gearbox, suspension setup, steering
Dislikes: gear ratios should have been shorter still, difference in feeling with base carrera or Carrera S is too subtle. They would have loved even more basic, louder, lighter, shorter gears... a baby 911R basically, which according to them it is not.
Anyways, their views. I love it and if I would go for a 911, I’d take the T. And keep it as basic as possible and use it as a toy
Bulldog, Orange Bulldog.

Thanks, Tom. I enjoyed the video despite the language barrier!Orangebulldog wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2018 6:07 pm Likes: Engine power/feeling, manual gearbox, suspension setup, steering

Yeah, those conclusions are similar to most reviews of the T. It's not a 911R or a GT3. Really?!? You don't say!
They all say that the gearing could be a bit shorter, or ideally just chuck in the 6-speed box from the R, GT3 or GT4. And I agree that the weight saving is negligible.
Roll on my collection in early April...!

Looking great WC bet you’re getting more excited by the day,I’m tempted must admit but we’ve just ordered a nicely specced up GOLF GTI for the wife (got to keep her happy ) so we’re going to wait and have a Look at the 911 992 when it launched later this year and we’ll see then.
This is an expensive hobby but what the heck,

For a demonstrator, I thought the dealership would have spec'd it close to the concept. What does a car whose concept is centred around 'lightness' need? I know, weight! Let's add it to the highest point of the car too. 'Add sunroof, click'.jk88 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 3:16 pm Teeside have their demo showing for sale, looks rather nice in black

You're right. The excitement is building!
The Golf GTi is a great iconic car in its own right.
And it's only money after all!

The sunroof seems to go completely against the ethos of the T. I'm not sure about the all-black look either. Were I the sales manager speccing the demo/showroom car, I'd have gone for one of the 'launch' colours - maybe yellow or white. And add in PCCBs if feeling brave!

The Golf GTI is a great wife’s car! We have exactly the same, got hers in Nov and I borrow it now and again. Also great for family duties as it has great space and plenty of pace for day to day driving. Didn’t go mad on spec as they come so well equipped but had to upgrade the wheels to 19s and pay for a metallic colour.
What colour are you going for
Steve?
