That one's certainly got some Litchfield mods, lowered springs I would guess. I wonder how much more power they could wring out of it with the turbos turned up to 11?

I was tempted to say obviously the most powerful best handling yellow car in the thread

Now we're talking, My father had one of these when I first passed my test, a FE VX/490 in gold not yellow unfortunately. A great car, i gave it some abuse, 100mph down the M2 into Belfast, three in the front, four in the back without a seatbelt to be seen

Nice! My Dad had a Vauxhall Ventura, in orange, with a black vinyl roof, as I recall!

I was at that lark too the day I passed my test. Newry Road in to Armagh as I remember. A load of school chums in the Triumph Dolomite. Shudder.

It was free ie my mums when dad bought her a new bmw I got this

It was a 2.0 so was bloody quick for a 17 year old to have.

Kept it for about a year (thought that was a reasonable time to show I had appreciated it!)
