And at least the black, unpainted, rubbery front spoiler/splitter is pretty much a disposable item.

Colleague rang me to say he was stuck for an hour+ in a long line of traffic on the A30 in Cornwall because of the snow.....he has a new set of winter tyres on his AWD Tiguan.
Moral - only as good as the vehicle in front of you in the unprepared SW winter.

Agreed, Steve. I heard about 100 people stranded on the A30 spent the night in a pub!

Not driving today, as walked into work, but planning on using the car over the weekend, possibly involving a trip to Kent. I don't have any special set up in mind, other than just taking it easy.

My dirtiest picture so far...! I left home at 7.30am yesterday with my road still covered in snow and ice. 177 miles later, arrived at a very sunny Deal in Kent to spend some quality time with my daughters. Really clear views of France from Deal and Dover!
