And I wonder how much you'd have saved if your initial (March 16) purchase had been a new 911, and you'd stuck with it … (Probably best not to work it out! )

There is, however, wise advice on options that the asker can choose to take on board or ignore as he or she wishes.

Advice is welcome, like the 911GTS leather advice I will be for ever grateful I got on here. SE in belfast now calls it the A****son option, one that few had spotted.
Must haves are usually someone else trying to justify there extravagance.

Yeah, yeah. Very funny, guys!

And how much could we all save if instead of Porsches, we chose to drive a Kia...?! ;)

Collected car from Swindon OPC this morning.

They have replaced a thermostat, so seemingly not a water pump or change over valve issue. :geek:

Not clean in this photo, but I liked the warm glow of the car this afternoon, despite the wet and cloudy weather.

Covered 9,790 miles so far.

Going into Swindon OPC tomorrow, as a cooling system fault cropped up this weekend. Oil temperature is normally around 90 degrees centigrade (in Sport mode) but climbed to 104 degrees on Sunday and 107 degrees this morning.

Folks on Rennlist say it might be a faulty change over valve, or perhaps the water pump issue that has affected some 991.2s. 🤔
Just read about your temp issue.. Good to hear it wasn't anything serious! The cooling system, be it a thermostat, pump, etc. does appear to be the weakest link in the 991.2 series. However, once sorted they do seem to run trouble free from then on, from my limited experience and what I've read so far.
