You feeling ok?
It’s an interesting idea though....
I think it could look good, but think about cohesion. If you pain the wheels a more interesting colour, I think you should also have the side decals the same colour as the wheels.
That raises the issue of the mirrors, which would then be the only thing in the glossy platinum grey colour.
You could get a spare set of caps and paint them wheel colour too, as per 996 GT3 RS?
Or, paint caps yellow to match your bodywork?
I think the a blue could work perhaps, but if I was you, I would look at all the old 70’s 911 paint codes and select an authentic 911 body colour.
If it were me, I’d start with a dark gold as a good safe option and go from there.
You really need a friend with some photoshop skills though!

Cheers, Red5.
Lastest idea from a Rennlister - Voodoo Blue wheels !
I like this idea, as it’s a Porsche colour.
Think I’d go with a gloss finish.
Agree about side decals in matching colour.
Good point on the mirrors. Either Racing Yellow, or blue to match wheels.
Hmmmm...!

Not so sure that multi coloured is the way to go Wing. Lots of bright colours might be an American thing but less is more suits this side of the pond more IMHO.
