I have CC on my manual run around Suzuki Vitara and it works fine. I did wonder myself as this is the first manual car I have ever driven with CC.
I'm nearly sure that I have driven a loan GTD manual Golf with ACC so even if Porsche doesn't d it others in the group do.

Yes Rab you are right the GTD has ACC on either manual or DSG. Wife’s last car was a manual GTD and ACC works great, it just beeps when it wants you to change a gear.
