Yes, indeed! I spotted a black 911 in the car park with its bonnet open as we exited the car park! :) Weather was much better than forecast! Hope you had a good time there. 😎

Hi Paul.

Lucky you! I’ll be interested to see the pics and hear the spec!

Personally, I would drive it like I stole it! As I put more miles on my T, I’m being braver about taking it up nearer to the 7,000rpm mark. It really is a fantastic car, so I’d seek out some suitable roads and give it some welly! Also check out the great handling & roadholding around the twisties!

Cheers,

Simon

So is 7000 rpm the “sweet spot”? (in someone else’s?!😂)

Been out enjoying this today - not 100% convinced I could live with it day in day out. Maybe the standard / basic seats are at fault here? I can’t recall the last tine I had to manually move a seat fore and aft (actually I can because Mrs P’s TTS also has manually adustable fore and aft, despite being 14 way electric for everything else, incliding 4 way lumbar😳)

Great fun (and it red lines at 8 K, not 7😊😊) The turn-in is really precise, a little tail happy on the greasy bits😳 but an absolute blast on the quiet B roads. The parking brake caught me out twice (once to find it, and once to push and not pull it to put it on!)

PDK, nav, proper glass in the windows, sports exhaust, DRS button on the steering wheel (😂)
No rear seats, bright yellow belts and stitching (but not on the steering wheel?☹️)

Anyhow, we’re out again in a minute for another go!

How many miles have you got under your belt now WingCo? I found the engine loosened up markedly between about 4 and 5k miles and the car now feels substantially more eager which is a welcome surprise.

Am now up to 5,887 miles according to Car Connect :geek: at an average of 47mph and 30.7 mpg (according to the car, not measured by myself) :ugeek:

It just feels like it’s getting better and better. Or, at least I’m enjoying it more and more, as I use more of the car’s potential  Am very pleased overall and without a shadow of a doubt, it’s my favourite of my four Porsches. ;)

Only thing I’d change is to have the sound of my 991.1 C2 with its PSE, but maybe a future project might be to upgrade the exhaust system on the Carrera T...
