Non Porsche discourtesy car! Strange times Simon and I fear it's going to be some time before it all settles down.

Hopefully they'll cough up for the water leak. If it's the same as mine, and many others, it will be the water pump from the known bad batch and so should be replaced foc. Your modifications will have had no effect on the pump. We know that OPCs can make the decision on warranty issues like this so let's hope Swindon do the right thing. And get their courtesy cars fixed!

Thanks, Nick. I just had a phone call late yesterday afternoon from a junior service person, mentioning something vaguely about a ‘faulty connection’...

When my GTS was in for the waterpump replacement they gave me a Merc SUV of some sort to drive for a week while waiting on a new pump, and that was long before covid or parts shortages.

Swindon OPC is part of the Dick Lovett Group, so if not a Porsche, was expecting maybe a BMW, a Mini, or a Ferrari... :P
