Ha ha! Only slightly better! I really don’t like it. I think I’d rather have a nippy little 1-Series to be honest!

Ah, nice loaner there. I really loved my Panamera 4. Great cars, I think.
I think they are great too and do the Porsche thing well if you need more room and don’t need the cayenne

My, erm, lady friend said it was like a posh taxi! 😂

Wouldn't work for me, I'd never get it on the drive. Way too long (and low).
It did stick out and my work parking space to be fair but you could just get a bigger drive !

Yep, loved my Carmine Red Panny 4, but just couldn’t resist the lure of getting back into a 911! :P If I was in the market for a sporty & spacious ‘exec’ 4-seater saloon, I’d pick one of these (Panny) over a large Beemer, Merc or Audi etc. Also, I loved the Panny SD with the V8 that I borrowed for a weekend! :)

TBH, I have no issue with a BMW as a courtesy car. Owned quite a few and they are generally very nice cars.

Agreed. I don’t have a problem with BMWs as such. I used to have a 1984 BMW 316! :) And I have always liked the M3 and M2. 8-)
My second car (at 19 years old) was a black 320i. I was extremely proud! Had it lowered and added BBS alloys and everything ...... like you do when you're 19.
Ha ha! I had my humble 316 lowered, and fitted 15” alloys with 205/50 “low profile” tyres! My 911 now has 305/30 20” tyres at the back! :D

My second car was also black. A nippy little Ford Fiesta XR2! :)

The V8 was awesome but short lived !

I remember when Mid-Sussex lent us one the Mrs took it to tonbridge Porsche to quote for some work they wanted doing - she said it was very quick….

It’s the only V8 I’ve driven to date and I loved the power. I felt like Captain James T Kirk on the Starship Enterprise - warp drive, Scotty! :P :D

Well, I totally get the 911. Just had our afternoon at PEC, drove 911s and Macan Turbo. First time me or the wife have been in a 911 and we will have one at some point, amazing vehicles. The Macan really surprised me how well it goes for a heavy beast, but it sure ain't a full on drivers car like a 911.

Bet the 911T is a right laugh!!

Glad you enjoyed PEC! :)

Which 911s did you get to drive?

Yes, I do love my 911 T! And even more of a laugh courtesy of the ‘tweaks’ from Litchfield Motors! :D

But for more of a family car, your colourful Macan Turbo is hard to beat. (And superior in many ways to the BMW X4 2.0d that I’m currently driving!) ;)

992 carrera s. Thought it was going to be the 4s, but just rear wheel drive. First rear wheel drive car I've driven in my 24 years on the road, and what an entrance.

Nice! The purists (with way more talent than me) often seem to prefer the Carrera 2 over the AWD version. :)

Any pics from PEC...?
