I just dont do many miles anymore and already have a few cars so not justifiable but will see.....

I am off the PEC in a couple of weeks for some fun and testing for the day..

Yes i have been playing around with configuration for over 12 months now.
Off to PEC in a couple of weeks..

I am also looking at possibility of a 911 classic which is probably more sensible but i like modern gadgets etc....
I cant justify another car because i just dont do enough driving so it will become another weekend toy.

I do generally take plenty of time to make a decision but once made i go all in
Need to do some testing etc..

There is nothing else that will satisfy me than a 911....

I am not sure anyone knows when orders will finish as I don't think anyone knows when the factory close will finish. However my recommendation would be if you want one, get one asap as you might be able to get one before factory close...else it will be a at least a reasonable wait and could be a long wait if there is an order backlog over the summer months when new orders come in but nothing is built.

Do you think there will be options towards end of year to order or are we then looking at 992?

Ah, but this is "only" the 911 Turbo S.

Like you, I know the chance of a 911R, GT2 RS, GT3 RS, Turbo S Exclusive is zero.

I would've been happy with a 991.2 GT3 slot or even a 991.1 GT3 at a sensible price!

But meanwhile back in the real world, I am super-excited about my Racing Yellow Carrera T!

I honestly don't know. I think it will be clearer within the next two months once Geneva has come...what cars are launched and discussed there will help to confirm what might happen later in the year.
