Tom, that indeed is the dilemma :? A very first world problem as they say.

No dilemma in my eyes. It might as well sit in your garage as lie around their yard.

Yep I would have it at home and as Tom says it's then ready for a decent day. Today was a beautiful day, only had my Macan out 3 or 4 times in the last 3 or 4 months as the road are stinking dirty with the grit they put down. Today was so nice and dry so we went for a pleasure run this afternoon, 60 miles around the north Antrim coast and it was glorious. Roads still a bit damp here and there but generally lovely and dry. Plenty of admiring looks from other drivers and a few short bursts of acceleration in sports plus does the heart good and blows away the winter blues.

The looks I get from other drivers is one of disgust at the filth on my VG SD.

+1
Take it in March (not sure if “new plate” works the same over the sea?) - at least then it’s in the garage and can be used if weather permits. Otherwise it’ll be in the dealership being used as a demo😂😂😉

No new plate over here so March or April doesn't make any difference to that. Imagine Rab has a cherished reg to go on it anyway.

Rab just take delivery and drive it and enjoy it 👍

Mine is a daily driver all year round and will in no way be a garage queen. These are cars that are designed and want to be driven

Yes I have my own reg, but the english reg changes stll dictate second hand prices much the same as anywhere else, so a March 18 reg date is important.
As from when if its in the showroom and the weather take up it could be on the road in a day or two so no great issue and if it snows to Easter as they say no harm done.

Yes wouldn't take it before 1 March for residual reasons but doesn't sound like it will be available In Feb anyway.

Could be some tricky weather for those of us picking up cars at the end of this week. Who said winter was over?
