I tested a JCW but decided that £ for £ it was inferior to my Golf R which I ran on for a while. The Sports Exhaust was pretty good though.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.

Never owned or driven a mini. I’ve looked inside a friend’s mini and didn’t like that the speedo was in the middle of the dash rather than being directly in front of the driver.

Ironically that’s one of the few features from the original mini that still remain.

Speedo is now in front of steering wheel on new minis.

Middle screen in now an 8.8” touchscreen (sat Nav etc)
Basically is same BMW idrive system

Indeed. I’d forgotten that. (Age is merciful in that way 😬). But now you remind me... it’s just the central round binnacle that references the original.

What I do recall is being thoroughly impressed by the interior as being a brilliant piece of auto design. Possibly even the best - certainly the most innovative and considered.

Sitting in the back of a Cooper S is one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had - the seat angles are all wrong and its incredibly cramped. Which is a design achievement really, given how huge the Mini has become.
