Don't really like the styling at the rear, a bit bland for me but I love the Union Flag in the lights, so cool. 8-)
GTS \o/ - sold :(

Whoops! Not the reaction I was expecting. 🤭. Mrs D thinks they’re a bit girly. 😳 😂

Love it especially the light detail.

There again I have been a fan of the Mini since my own 850cc version in the late sixties, it remains the only car I have made a profit on.

We had a new version Mini Cooper from 2003-2006 and loved it.

If there is one car that I would get if I sold the Turbo it would be a Mini.

IMHO it’s become over-designed - the original pastiche concept now being stretched too far.

Neither do I like the stick-on units below the front and rear bumpers.

We have the latest Mini Countryman All4 S which has all those new features in the review (Except rear flag lights)
Its is fully loaded with way too many options (Just under £40k) but its a fun car and to the spec we wanted.
Wife always wanted a Mini and the countryman has 50ltr less boot space than the Macan and plenty of space in the back for the kids.

Its a great handling car too and feels very planted to the road.... Lovely full leather interior, Wireless Apple Carplay, Led lights.. the list goes on and on. Driving in the snow with 4 wheel drive a breeze also.

Its very different to the Macan of course but i would describe it as cool and fun with plenty of toys (If you tick enough boxes on the configurator) :D

I do appreciate how comfortable and great the Macan is to drive when i get back in it though :)
GTS 😀

I’ve no argument about the capabilities: we had one for 4 years and it was fun, more than willing and apart from the bl**dy awful runflats a joy to drive. It’s simply the latest design evolution I’m have issue with.

Quite like Minis too, not to sure about the latest version's with the Sat Nav in the middle, i think something need to change there.

In 2003 when we moved house (we do it quite a bit) we bought a new Mini Diesel as a runaround until our Boxster arrived then p/x it for a new Cooper S to run as a 2nd car.

Last August I sold our Macan and bought an approved Mini Cooper diesel as a runaround until the 911 is picked up in April.
911 C2 Pickup 14th April 2018 :D :D

I loved the 850 I had as a first car - the thing was awesome. Modern day minis are anything but mini and the idea of paying the best part of £40k for one is anathema to me.

BTW it's kitsch not kitch (which is short for kitchen) ;)
