Cheating software discovered in Audis latest v6 and v8 diesel engines. I seriously doubt I want to buy another product from the VW group. The company lost all sort of credibility in my book.

I seriously doubt VW will worry about the loss of your custom.

Just read the same in the Times....

It’s obviously impacting on Porsche as their shares are up 1.05%.

Yeah but look at the divestment in motorsport in the group. Porsche pull out of LMP1. Volkswagen pull out of WRC.

Investment in LMP1 - around 250m Euros. F1 investment is around 20m and fixed to make it 'competitive'. On that basis, not a hard sell and they proved themselves in WEC and won Le Mans taking their overall tally to more than any other manufacturer. I'm going on memory so may stand corrected on the figures.
