So as i approach my first year anniversary of being a Porsche owner, i ask myself what is the dream ?
Ever since being a child i have always loved the 911, for me it is the ultimate car. However i am at a stage where the 911 just does not fit my life (kids etc) therefore as it stands the Macan is a compromise (albeit a very nice one). The dream or should i say aim, is to own a 911 Targa one day, for me the nicest variant of the 911.
So what is your dream or aim as you travel on the Porsche journey ?
What is your dream ?

My aim is to really relish & enjoy my incoming new Carrera T!
My 'dream' would be a Porsche 991.2 GT3, however I am not sure that it would fit the bill as a daily driver, so it may remain a 'dream' as I'm a one car person, and would not have the resources to keep a GT3 purely as a weekend plaything.
It could be that the 911T is all the Porsche I'll ever need, but I do agree that the 991.2 Targa is a stunning looking piece of kit!

I'll take delivery of my dream in a couple of weeks time - a built to order 991.2 GTS 4 which I am sure will be a joy. Whether I tire of it quickly remains to be seen but I'd be surprised if I ever needed anything more thrilling as a daily driver. Maybe one day, if I'm really lucky, I'll be able to add a Ferrari 488 GTB as a weekend toy but that is a very long way away!

I honestly think that the 911 GTS C4 is the best daily driver that Porsche do!
More power than a Carrera or Carrera S. Can be a genuine daily driver/sole car, racking up a fairly high mileage, unlike a GT3 or GT3 RS. And probably better handling, and much less expensive, than a Turbo or Turbo S.

Drove a Turbo S at PEC last year and actually found it frightening so wouldn't want one as a daily driver. I have high hopes that you are right about the C4 GTS and I'm actually beginning to get excited. Due at the dealership in 10 days' time so hope to get a couple of photos before it is PDIedWing Commander wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2018 2:28 pm

My Porsche dream is easy.
A Macan Turbo S but sized as a Q3 or slightly a smaller.
Ps
Did I say with a Hybrid version whilst still retaining the Turbo S engine in full power mode.
