Btw OPC still telling me PASM is a waste of money. Never had (or felt the need for all leather before) so I think I will sacrifice it for the 21s (and maybe the 14 ways...). Bloody hell, this is tough.

Your OPC sounds like an idiot. PASM is best option on the list IMO. There is a reason all 911s and higher end versions of other models have it as standard...

Wow, your OPC must be clairvoyant since this is a brand new chassis that as far as I am aware nobody in the UK has driven yet! Is it worth the gamble that in the unlikely event he or she is right?

I suppose you could just order the car how you originally specced it, bar the Sport Chrono (which most agree is a waste of money in an off-roader). You can always tweek it before the lock down. The new Cayenne will be touring the showrooms in mid March, so perhaps you can go to a launch evening at your OPC and have a nose around the car?

It is tough, CAY2018! ;)
With regards to the seats, the shape of those seats is the same, it is the adjustability and extra functions / memory that differs. If you're not fussed about lumbar support, seat cushion extension, steering column elec. adjustments and memory for both passenger and driver seats, then 8-way is sufficient for you. But in case of 8-way seats I would tick the DRIVER MEMORY PACKAGE if you share the driving with anyone. :)

With regards to PASM yes/no. The new Cayenne has STEEL SPRING SUSPENSION like the Macan, but also INTEGRATED PORSCHE 4D CHASSIS CONTROL, not sure if that has any part to play in your OPC telling you that you don't need PASM.

No idea whether the chassis control would make up for the absence of PASM.

Have read that the 14 way seats have softer leather which may make up for the absence of full leather? Not sure if that is still the case for the 18 model?
