Irrespective of dates / ages, buying a high used car (or indeed new car) with loads of options and then trading it in after 2 months is plain daft!
(Unless the car in questing is in mega short supply with high demand - which doesn't describe the Panemera😉)

Base model with loads of options and he paid too much for it. I think the dealer was a bit fly charging that much but I suppose they have their targets too. Chocolate brown doesn't sound very appealing!

probably true....first as others said trading in a car after 2 months is never going to end well. also you need to look at what you are buying. went to the Cayenne launch at local OPC last week and they had a Panamera same as mine for sale that had £39K's worth of options on it.....£39k!!!!

I put BOSE, Air suspension, 21" Turbo wheels, Sport Chrono, memory seats, ambient lighting, reverse camera and some other bits on mine to give me what i thought was a good spec vs RRP for the car and i'd say i spent at least £28k or more less than that one.

Thought I recognised the user name from the Rennlist Panamera Forum. Hope the Panamera is running ok. 👍

I did have a root round the second hand market before I got mine.

The trouble seemed to be that extras push up the price the seller expects but if they're not extras you want they don't add perceived value and can even reduce the value.

Thus I was prepared to pay extra not to have some wheel options, esp 21", and privacy glass, some interiors were definitely out, side blades had to be same colour, the list goes on.
