Near junction 31A on the M6 there are a few car dealers starting to build showrooms.
Kia, Vauxhall and Mazda are already there.
Over the past few months a new very large showroom has been built right next to the northbound exit from the motorway.
Went past it an hour ago to see that signs have now been errected.
Jaguar and Land Rover ......... damn and blast.
Just when I thought we were going to get a quality car dealer.
There is supposed to be a Porsche OPC coming and I was keeping fingers crossed.
Damn and blast
Let's hope they put in a useful number of EV chargers there - I might need that
There are chargers at the Ibis Hotel next to j1 of the M55 which goes to Blackpool, the junction is only 1/2 mile off the M6.
There are also chargers at the Broughton Hotel on the other side of this junction.

JLR are also opening a couple of new, large and impressive dealerships down my way too.
They seem confident that their sales will remain healthy, despite the current diesel 'situation'.

To make matters worst it is the Jag dealer I have berated ever since I came on this forum (Inchcape trading as HA Fox) that are moving from their existing prime but limited space position into this showroom.
It gets worst.
There is a RR/LR showroom on the A6 10 miles north of Preston and it is SEs there that have ignored me every time I go into the showroom. On the one occasion I could be bothered to ask about a test drive I was told that they could arrange one at a later date but I would have to arrange insurance cover.
This new showroom is combining both outlets into one.
It does not bode well.

Maybe you're on their blacklist, Col. They might have a mole monitoring this forum.

Oh no, they would not dare come here, even in anon guise, too depressing for them, knowing that they sell a poor product and us extolling the virtures of outpr beloved motors.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 10:09 pm Maybe you're on their blacklist, Col. Reminds me of the Jag SEs face when I had just had a test drive of the FPace it was a picture when he asked me “What are you driving?” and I just pointed at the beast.
