Well the first section on the Dodge SRT was interesting, its a sub 10s car for the 1/4 mile hence blisteringly fast in a straight line.

Sadly the rest of the show is best watched at 15x

Pretty weak material, but I'm sure the original line-up would have made it more entertaining. Matt, Chris and Rory are still struggling in their wake.

Poor episode this time. The features all seem to be Matt and Chris so maybe Rory could be out of a job soon.

I think that MLB is good for the series, I like his style of humour. However I can’t say the same about Chris, who IMHO is a bit too full of himself - I don’t think that it adds anything by placing him alongside the Stars In The Reasonably Priced Car.
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

I'd favour a show that features more of Chris Harris road testing cars, as he clearly knows his stuff. More of a return to the old school Top Gear format for me (pre-Clarkson) please! :ugeek:

I enjoyed the 2CV piece, until they started throwing eggs at each other

Thought it was dire.... 2cv bit was just plain boring IMHO

As an offshoot, i happened to watch the first couple of episodes of Top Gear America whilst on a LH flight recently with nothing else to watch and have to say the presenters were infact far better and more connected than the uk team. It actually came across as a car show for petrol heads with fun whereas the UK version is still coming across as ‘desperately seeking stardom’
