But make sure it’s got the right tyres on! :? :|

A) There's probably an insurance/liability issue with customers taking their own cars onto the facility on a 'normal' PEC day.
B) I'd rather use/risk their car, petrol & tyres, especially for things like repeated launch control starts etc.
C) I need to get mine properly run in first.
Absolutely, Simon. I don’t think I’d want to risk a car at any time doing that sort of stuff.
Actually not for (A) but I would heartily agree with (B)!

Please let me know if you spot any new Cayenne’s down there. Official UK launch isn’t until the 24th of April but you never know.
When I first went there, there were a handful of 918’s doing the track with potential billionaire customers being wined & dined (probably not wined). That was before the holy trinity had ever been dreamt up.

I thought it was only PDK equipped cars that had launch control, with a manual it is down to your own reactions. Don’t want any over revs showing up on the data down loads

You're right. Launch Control is a feature of Sport Chrono in PDK-equipped Porsches. Good point.

I need to find out more about 'over-revs'. :ugeek: I've heard the expression used, but don't fully understand it, yet...

We are going in April with a few friends, been 3 times now and had a great experience each time. I love the look on everyones face at break when they come in from the first session. We are taking out the 911 GTS 4 and Cayman s one session in each, I did this last time with Rob and had a real blast. I believe he has retired which is sad I was hoping to get him again.
Have a great time Spud.

Going next week (29th) for my 911 GTS 4 session. Although I've been 4 times before I will still look forward to the coaching and understanding what this particular car can do.

I was there before the Panamera launch and they had one under wraps that you could go and see. I opted to spend my time driving the cars and didn't bother but they might have a Cayenne if you ask.
