Better than the last race until Bottas bottled it.
F1 needs more Senna like driving, and if Bottas had done the lunge and left it to Vettel to either give way or crash then he probably would have won or it they both were taken out then it would have limited the Team damage.
Two races and Mercs are a shed load of points behind the Reds

Very early days yet, Col. I think Bottas’s mistake, if it was one, was not pushing harder earlier. Having said that it was clear that the mediums didn’t have the longevity. And I can’t agree with the nuclear option because of the possible impact on the next race and possible risk to engine and gearbox. Only race two but playing the long game.Col Lamb wrote: ↑Sun Apr 08, 2018 6:58 pm Better than the last race until Bottas bottled it.

I was intrigued, though, by Vettel’s opinion about the state of his tyres. We’re they actually as bad as he would have us believe? Or was he simply sowing seeds of doubt?
Ferrari may have the points but psychologically was it a victory for Mercedes at a venue where they were not expected to thrive? Were Vettel’s comments an effort to counter that?

The luck certainly seems to be favouring Vettel for now. If the Ferrari mechanic hadn't got run over by Kimi, Vettel would have went for a second set of tyres and very possibly lost the race.

Happy with the result!
As no doubt will be Caster/Dave!
Maybe Hamilton would have only managed 6th, had Kimi and the two Red Bulls not 'retired'
Definitely a much better spectacle than the first race

Lets hope the Ferrari mechanic makes a full recovery asap.
There has to be a better way of managing pit stops to put an end to guys being hurt like this or cars being released with wheels that have not been tightened correctly.

BBC Sport News:
"Ferrari mechanic Francesco Cigorini suffered a broken leg when he was run over by Kimi Raikkonen during a pit stop in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Ferrari's pit system showed a green light to Raikkonen, indicating he could exit the pits, despite mechanics not having changed his left rear wheel.
Cigorini suffered a fracture of the tibia and fibula in his left leg and was taken to hospital.
Ferrari have been fined 50,000 euros by race officials for an unsafe release.
The incident forced Raikkonen's retirement from third place because it is forbidden to return to the track with tyres of different compounds on the car."

I too hope that the mechanic recovers soon and receives appropriate compensation from Ferrari.
Just wondering, having moved & attended to the injured mechanic, could Kimi's Ferrari not have been returned to the pit position and have its rear wheel changed?
