Loved the picture with your new Plod friends. Reminds me of the time years ago when I was in a group of bikers pulled over in mid Wales. We were riding legally but, in those days, the Welsh forces were actively engaged on a policy of persecuting all motorcyclists in an attempt to discourage them from visiting Wales. Following a change of Chief Constable the policy switched to one of communication and education and the whole atmosphere was transformed. Compliance was much better, collisions and injuries dropped and the media got bored and left to go and make mischief elsewhere.
I’m heading to North Wales later in May to do some walking in Snowdonia, but will enjoy some driving too whilst there. It’s amazing how much they want to discourage people from going there. All the publicity around the EVO triangle and some of the idiots it has attracted hadn’t helped. There’s been a number of deaths and many more near misses from what I read.

Does your good lady enjoy driving the GT3? 😃
The car does look good with the grey & yellow decals, very stylish. 👍🏼
Thank you :D

She is happy being a passenger even though she is on the insurance policy. The fear of damaging a wheel or worse will keep here away from the drivers seat

Out of interest how come there’s a random aerial picture? Did one of you go by helicopter? [emoji3]

Looks like a great trip. Some great roads which we did last year in McCann. 'Swiftly moving Porsches' - now that IS funny.

I assume the police turned a blind eye to the missing front number plates on several of the GT3's?

It's really interesting how, if you have something a little special you can get away without a number plate! I have now put a stick on front number plate on mine.

There is a guy that lives near me that has a 918 that has never had a front number plate!

Yes Arif, I've seen a few Ferraris locally without front plates. You also see people putting a set of black and silver plates on a "classic car" yet the vehicle may be younger than the cut off point of 31st December 1974. I think today some of the "plods" are oblivious to the rules and regs. I know if I tried it. I'd probably get caught. I also imagine you also need a friendly MOT technician if you keep the car longer than three years.
