Same price for GT3 wheels with winter tyres. ;)

Wonder if they'd fit on a GTS...

I've got the latest brochure in front of me and they're the same price. £5,344. :geek:

According to the Porsche Winter Wheels brochure, GTS wheels are 8.5 J x 20 ET51 and 11 J x 20 ET59.

GT3 wheels are 9 J x 20 ET51 and 12 J x 20 ET47. GT3 wheels also come fitted with wider rear tyres.

Maybe they won't fit on a GTS after all. Different offset on rear wheels? :geek:

Ah, ok. The GT3 wheels in the winter wheels/tyres brochure are actual GT3 wheels, like these:

Hmm, all a bit academic I know, but the standard wheels and tyres on the GTS and GT3 are the same size. If you search the Tequipment site by car variant and click 'wheels and tyres' then 'winter sets' you are offered 20" Turbo S centre lock wheels for both cars, same size rears (11j width) but 8.5j front GTS, 9j front GT3, but same size tyres all round. GTS set priced at £5424, GT3 £5265. Sort that out!

Thanks, Wallaby. I mentioned that. They said their offer was already better than the 10% discount, as they were throwing in wheel centres, a year's storage and two swap-overs.
You don't even need wheel centres, just swap them over with the wheels.
Although they wouldn't match. ;) Summer wheels are Titanium Grey gloss finish and winter wheels likely to be traditional silver finish.
Ahhh, fair enough!

Hi Nick. Yeah, it's crazy. And as mentioned above, the winter wheels/tyres brochure that I got from Swindon OPC also offers actual 'GT3' wheels with winter tyres, as an alternative to the Turbo S design. See pic above. :geek:
