Can anyone confirm the approximate cost for an extended warranty for a 64 plate, 35k miles cayenne 3.0ltr diesel please?

I assume you can only buy from a dealer?

Check the Porsche GB web site. Or ring up to three OPC'S get the 'best' price.

You will probably be charged for the 111-point check too. You might be able to 'negotiate' this if your due a 4th year service.

The service has just been carried out by Porsche, also had new discs and pads on it along with tyres (I know these wouldn't be covered anyway but it shows the car is looked after). I suppose I was being a little lazy and trying to see an approx cost so I could chew it over. The car still has 10 months approved warranty left.. Just trying to make plans.

Don't know about Cayenne, but Macan is £1715 for 2 yrs, £969 for 1 year. £216 for inspection if older than 1 year. Figures include Porsche assist. I suspect the Cayenne will be similar - maybe a bit more.

Thanks, that helps. It's better than I thought so I think we will do this.. Actually it's my wife's car, so she can make the decision.

they will normally wave the inspection fee if you are getting it serviced - but i bet you will have to pay the inspection fee even if it was serviced last week :-(

I think I was told that the Macan was charged the £216 after the second year ... I believe it’s been changed?

It’s down to the individual Porsche centre. The official line is what I posted above but they told me at Tewkesbury they only charge if it is >2 years old

I received a letter about Porsche Approved Warranty extension today. £1440 for two years, plus the text mentions the 111-point vehicle inspection 'which may be charged for'.

I think this price doesn’t include Porsche assist. But correct me if I am wrong
