Apparently his comments about taking Tesla private caused the pyrahs in the Stock Markets who Short Sell shares to not make much cash.
They are suing him for millions.

His arrogant spitefulness in trying to stuff the short sellers could be really a big issue this time.

Well, manipulating the market (deliberately moving a stock price by making unofficial statements like he did)) is illegal. I’m surprised he’s not under investigation but the SEC. perhaps he is.

The SEC have certainly asked the question as have Tesla’s board but as of close of business Friday no details had been presented by Musk.

He is a very long way from having a controlling interest as it is.

His behaviour is most certainly against the rules but the piranhas that actively short companies in the hope of getting rich deserve everything they get IMO

Retribution aside he’s more concerned with escaping the reportage and accountability that have increasingly dogged Tesla and in particular his imaginative targets.

Perhaps he's making a bid for President of the US of A anything goes in that role..
