Not necessarily true. If you look at the Macan FB pages there are a high proportion of very pimped examples. Lowered, skirts, chipped etc. Presumably that ideology may also extend to 911 ownership. These though aren’t genuine Porsche options.
True, there are modification enthusiasts all over the world. :D

The base wheels etc as seen on the continent might depend on the time of year. I have family in Holland and lots of pals in Belgium who keep their winter tyres on steel rims - so the time of year might depend on what you're seeing?
