I think a Cayman or 911 goes well alongside any SUV!
Only thing that puts me off a Cayman is the 2 seats because of our 2 girls. They can easily fit in the back of a 911 for a day out, but a 2-seater would get much less usage in our house.
Second car with a macan
My first Porsche was a Macan and now we have a Macan GTS and 981 Boxster S - great combination.
Macan 1 - jet black turbo with 20" RS spyders now sold
Macan 2 - volcano grey GTS with black 20" RS spyders now sold
Macan 3 - dolomite silver GTS loving it
also 981 Boxster S

Recently sold our Macan GTS and bought a Carrera 9114S,we had a deposit down on a new 911/992 from Sheffield OPC (JCT600) but they are looking at a delivery of sometime next year and after waiting 15 months for our first Porsche and the 12 months for the GTS MACAN I couldn’t be waiting 15+ for a new 911/992 ,this 911 4S came into Leeds Porsche again (JCT 600) really well specced up in Carmine Red ,it was probably more than I wanted to spend but we did a deal and it’s absolutely fabulous and surprisingly practical, also bought a new Golf GTI for the wife and this has really suprised me on how good it is,if I had to be honest we could quite easily live with just the Golf it’s that good but when we’ve both worked hard all our lives it’s nice to be able to spoil ourselves now and again,if you’re considering a sports car try a 911 I’m sure you’ll be smitten.

I currently have a 911 GT3 and as that is a weekend car, I decided it was time to get in a Cayman. I tried the new 718, excellent car but just couldn't live with the sound of the 4 pot! I decided to go for a late (16plate) 981 PDK with Sports Exhaust and a few other bits - what a fun car it is and I use it as a daily driver along with my Golf R. I have a VW Bus (Caravelle 4motion) to do the family stuff.

981 is a great car and a great choice as a daily if you have something more practical for family duty. Not driven a 718 however, I really didn’t like the sound of them at the PEC day so get where you are coming from
