The Ferrari I drove many many years ago as an 18 year old was incredibly difficult to drive, very notchy H-gate gearbox with a very heavy clutch with little travel. Easy to miss a gear, easy to grind the gears and impossible to drive smoothly - maybe I'd be better now with nearly an extra 40 years' driving experience!

Not having driven a modern Ferrari I have no idea whether they are much more civilised to drive but would suspect so.

A friend of mine bought one when he sold his company and got rid very quickly as it drew too much attention. He now drives a C4S, sensible chap

A black, grey or dark blue Ferrari (at least certain models) would be more ‘under the radar’ than a 911 in say Racing Yellow, Lava Orange, Miami Blue or even Guards Red.

Yes I was close to speccing Lava Orange on my GT3 but as Simon says it does look Salmon Pink in some lights. So played it safe and went GT silver.
