Whilst out and about in the loaner 2.0 Macan I had stopped in Bowness to get a coffee and in walking from the car park to the Coffee shop there was this georgeous burble behind me.

Looked around to see this stunning 918 Spyder ambling along towards the lakeside.

So hats off to the owner for taking it out on the road rather than keeping it locked up in his garage.

You don't see many of those around...

Seen three, and two of them were in showrooms although it was probably the same one just shipped from OPC to OPC.

There were two in Belfast for the 70th birthday bash I seem to remember. Never seen one on the road - mind you hypercars in general are thin on the ground around here.

There was only one 918 in Belfast from my memory - there were other cars on show from the same owner's collection but just the one blue 918.

Leeds OPC have 2 in at £2.25 million each.

Nice to see these cars out and about as you say Col.

My OPC used thier £1.3m 918 to start a marathon race I was involved with some time ago.

What a lovely sound it makes. These cars need to be driven

I think it would surprise you how many hyper cars are in NI. I had a quick look around a new GT2 a few weeks ago waiting for a local guy, but no doubt like most of the heavy stuff here it'll be tucked up in the back of a garrage gathering dust and value.

Some of them gather value quicker than they go from 0-60!
