We did have to share with some others
... but not that much
Route Des Grandes Alpes
I think so.....interestingly we shared a carriage back on the 11:50 train from Calais with a very nice gentleman who had been racing his 4.5 litre Invictor at Spa earlier .Semerka wrote: βWed Sep 19, 2018 10:39 am Very nice, thank you for sharing, one to put on the list!

The Calais terminal car park was like a Porsche show, quite a few interesting examples there on Sunday afternoon. We thought it had to do with the Spa 6 hour Classic taking place last weekend.
Also mine may have been one of the lesser 911's milling around about lost then

I forgot, that there were also a few Macans at the terminal car park. Even two Carmine Red ones.
It really was full of Porsches.
P.S. there's no lesser 911, there are all a great drive!

Well at least it was horse smells for only 30 minuets or so.
You are indeed right every Porsche gives a great drive, most happy with mine after the trip it lapped up my inept driving abuse and kept me safe , very special cars
But fun and the thrill of the challenge can be had in all types of vehicle; witnessed by my car cam.

At least the 2cv has a boxer engine. I hope it's got disc brakes on the front. My first car had drum brakes all round and they were not good. I wouldn't fancy a long descent in that.
even Mrs Pβs TTS started to get a long brake pedal after one of our more enthusiastic descents!
