In addition, it seems that the death of the manual transmission in non-GT 911s has been great exaggerated! ;)

Sounds like a launch at the LA Motor Show and journalists being able to drive 992s early next year... :geek:

Good 992 review by George Karcher in CAR mag (Nov 18) that's out today. 7-speed manual and 8-speed PDK options confirmed.

The 8 speed PDK is interesting, the article stated that there seems to space available to fit an electric motor into the gearbox.

Possible Hybrid variant hence it will be interesting to see if and when Macan 2 gets the same 8 speed gearbox treatment
