Hi Semerka. Yes, she does, thanks. I helped her to get her first car, a little Peugeot 107, to commute to uni. She enjoyed her second PEC visit even more than her first one (Boxster drive) as she knew what to expect this time. :) A good time was had by us both. :D

Paul wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 11:34 am Yes, great day out every time (although I did briefly think from the photos it might have been your car being ragged around the track Simon! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)
Yes indeed, Paul. An added bonus was some racing on the actual Silverstone track that we could watch from the roof of the PEC. McLarens, Astons, 911s and the like. Then a race with the style of car that feature in events like the Le Mans 24 Hour Race. 8-)

Ha ha! Yeah, good to see that the PEC buyers had the good taste to spec their only T (a manual) in Racing Yellow too! ;)

And I learned that the PEC have not yet sold any of their GT cars ( as they are appreciating assets). :geek:

Nosmo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 12:59 pm And what a great day to do it as well. Will she now be saving the pennies to own one herself?
Yes, we were very lucky with the weather. The warmest 13th October since records began! :)

Not sure that owning a Porsche of her own is high on her list of priorities right now! ;)

Hope you let her drive home. πŸ˜‰
Yeah, it’s a great experience to share, Mike. :)

Dropped her off at Milton Keynes Railway Station! :P

VanB wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 5:35 pm I remember taking my 18 yo daughter to the PEC last year where she drove a 911 Turbo S. She still talks about it all the time and wants to go back. I think it's her favourite thing to have done with me and I expect your daughter will go on about it too.

I'm not sure how else children of that age from normal(ish) families would ever get behind the wheel of such performance cars otherwise so fair play to Porsche.

Glad she enjoyed it and no doubt you enjoyed putting that smile on her face!
Excellent! I think they must have tightened up the rules since last year, VanB, as am sure I read in the T&Cs that the minimum age for driving a Turbo/Turbo S was above 18. (Maybe 21 or 25 now I think.)

Yep, I really enjoyed taking her and giving her a day to remember! :)

Proud Dad moment! :D

Classic colours it seems, yellow 911T and a red 911GTS I think it seems.
Has anyone managed to transfer their PEC day to a family member if they, the purchaser wasn't present at the track?
