That's what I'm hoping for, having treated my freshly painted winter wheels with C5. Very easy to apply when off the car, cost about £23.

Gave my T its first wash today, since the fitting of the winter tyre/wheel set.

Drove 400+ miles at the weekend, much at 7 degrees or below. Going from 20”s to 19”s has not yet yielded any appreciable benefits in terms of road noise or ride comfort. However, the main purpose has been successful so far, with the car feeling reassuringly sure-footed in the cold weather. ❄️ 💦

You could have them re-done in black, to hide the winter grime. ;)

Thanks Semerka. I quite like the silver look, as it’s a contrast to the Titanium Grey on my ‘summer’ wheels. :)

To be fair, the wheels were easy to clean. I found the same with the 20” Carrera S wheels and also the 21” 911 Turbo wheels on my Panamera. I did not have any of them detailed. Am wondering if Porsche have started applying some protective coating...?

WC - It would look good on your car, black rims. I had mine powder coated in mat black. It shows winter grime even less.
